Counselling
Sometimes life gets tougher than it needs to be. The energy fades, the motivation thins, and the things that used to bring joy start feeling like just another demand. You might not be in crisis, but something feels off: the constant irritation, worry, intrusive thoughts and memories - and you’re not sure what to do about it. That’s actually a good place to start.
I work with people who who are starting to think something needs to change. Maybe the boundaries aren’t where they should be. Maybe the demands of relationships, work, leadership, ministry, education, or caring for others have crept past what’s sustainable. Whatever it is, the people I work with have something in common: they’re still showing up, and they want to find a better way forward.
My Approach
My approach is integrative. As well as drawing on multiple clinical models, I attend to the whole person: mind, body, soul and relationships.
Who we are isn’t neatly divided into categories. The way we think, the way our body responds, the relationships we hold, and the things we believe about the world all shape each other. I work with all of it, because that’s how people actually work.
Your needs, your preferences, and your story shape the agenda. I’m not interested in handing you a formula or telling you what to do. I’m here to walk alongside you while you untangle what’s going on, and to help you find clarity about what comes next.
I work with people from a variety of backgrounds and values, and your worldview is the one we work with. You are the captain of the ship. My job is to help you sail it. That said, not every counsellor is the right fit for every person, and that’s okay. The free 15-minute catch-up is there for both of us.

What’s the experience of working with me?
Two things matter to me when you sit down with me: that the space feels warm, and that nothing feels rushed.
The space I try to create is relaxed, honest, and non-judgemental. Listening well is where it starts, and then we work together at a pace that respects where you are.
If you’ve never been to counselling before, that’s fine. If you’ve seen other counsellors and it didn’t quite work, that’s fine too. All I ask is that you come willing to be open to new possibilities: honest, curious, and just a little bit courageous.
The first step is just a conversation.
Free 15-minute catch-up. No commitment, no pressure.
